this season is zooming by. are we getting older?
just a few reminders for all of us (zone 7/8)
as we are headed for fall(hopefully).* plant veggie seeds...lettuce, radish, carrots(see 8/24 post)

i was too excited.
* harvest your basil, put in a vase inside, not refrigerator!
get ready to make PESTO...
* order larkspur, poppy and wildflower seeds to plant Oct/Nov
* think about trees and perennials to plant when it's cooler
* scour the garden stores for seeds and plants
* too early for pansies, don't be tempted!
* use beautiful grasses, greens, pyracantha and goldenrod blooming
on roadsides for arrangements...it's really ragweed that
makes most of us sneezy!
